Amazing views of the Vatnajökull Glacier.
I cannot believe how thin the walls are! I was practically in the next room's conversations and it felt like I was part of their meeting! Adding to that, the flooring in the room was unbearable. it felt like I was walking on sharp pebbles. Having no kettle or hot water options was ridiculous for a location where comfort is key.

Stunning views near Hofn! 🌄
Rooms and house were super nice, everything was clean and comfy. The staff are the real star—shoutout to the chommie at reception who gave us all the good hiking tips! Free coffee and tea too, and wow, the ice cream made with local milk was lekker!
Dinner options were a bit limited for my taste.

This hidden gem offered stunning views of the nearby mountains. Our family enjoyed the spacious room, which came with a well-equipped kitchenette—perfect for whipping up breakfast with our dog. Watching the northern lights dance right outside our window was magical!
In my wife’s opinion, more bath mats would help.

We had such a lovely time! The room was super bright and clean, with stunning glacier views right from our window. Breakfast was a treat, packed with fresh bread and fruit. Just a heads up, the thin walls meant we heard our neighbors a bit too well. But the cozy lounge area made up for it!
